spirit voices
Ethereal disembodied communications
Spirit voices are sounds perceived as communication from ghosts, the dead, or supernatural beings.
The term appears in spiritualist contexts, where mediums claim to channel messages from beyond: She heard spirit voices during the séance.
It also describes any seemingly disembodied or otherworldly vocal presence: The wind carried what sounded like spirit voices through the empty house.
