softhead
Person lacking sense
A softhead is a foolish or stupid person—someone whose head seems soft where it should be firm.
The term is mildly insulting, suggesting mental weakness rather than complete idiocy: Don't be such a softhead.
The adjective softheaded describes this quality: a softheaded plan, softheaded thinking.
