slapstick comic
Pratfall-loving performer
A slapstick comic is a performer who specializes in physical comedy—pratfalls, pie-in-the-face gags, exaggerated collisions, and absurd bodily harm played for laughs.
The term evokes vaudeville and early film comedians like Buster Keaton and the Three Stooges.
He's a slapstick comic, not a stand-up—his jokes are in his body, not his mouth.
