slabber

Let saliva fall

To slabber is to drool or let saliva dribble from the mouth, as babies and some animals do.

By extension, it means to speak in a wet, sloppy manner or to fawn excessively: He slabbered over the celebrity like a lovesick teenager.

The word is informal and somewhat old-fashioned, more common in British and Irish English than American.
