sky garden
Garden above ground
A sky garden is a garden built on a rooftop, terrace, or elevated platform of a building.
The term emphasizes height and openness to the elements: The apartment complex features a sky garden on the twentieth floor.
Sky gardens serve as green spaces in dense urban environments where ground-level gardens are impractical.
