sitting volleyball
Grounded net sport
Sitting volleyball is a Paralympic sport adapted from standing volleyball, played on a smaller court with a lower net.
Players must keep their pelvis in contact with the floor while hitting the ball.
The game moves faster than standing volleyball because of the reduced court size: The U.S. sitting volleyball team won gold at the Paralympics.
