A single door is a door consisting of one panel that swings on hinges, as opposed to double doors or sliding doors.
The term appears most often in architectural specifications, real estate listings, and building codes: The garage has a single door rather than a two-car opening.
Single-door also modifies other objects: a single-door refrigerator, a single-door cabinet.
