sibling-in-law
Married-in family member
A sibling-in-law is the sibling of one's spouse, or the spouse of one's sibling.
The term serves as a gender-neutral alternative to brother-in-law or sister-in-law: My sibling-in-law is visiting this weekend.
It's particularly useful when referring to someone who is nonbinary or when gender is irrelevant to the context.
