sailing club
Yachters' social group
A sailing club is an organization for people who sail recreationally, typically based at a marina, lake, or coastal location.
Members share facilities like docks and clubhouses, participate in races and regattas, and often receive instruction.
The sailing club hosts a regatta every summer.
Some sailing clubs are exclusive social institutions; others welcome beginners.
