safety meeting
Workplace danger discussion
A safety meeting is workplace slang for taking a break to smoke marijuana, playing on the serious corporate term.
The joke is that the "meeting" provides mental relief rather than reviewing actual safety protocols: We're having a safety meeting behind the warehouse.
Common in service industry and blue-collar settings.
