sack up

Find your nerve

Sack up is vulgar slang meaning to find courage or resolve, typically directed at someone perceived as being weak or hesitant: Sack up and ask her out already.

The expression derives from testicles (balls, sack) as a metaphor for masculine bravery.

It carries the same meaning as "grow a pair" or "man up."
