Class helper parents
Room parents are parent volunteers who assist a classroom teacher, typically in elementary school.
They coordinate class activities, organize parties, chaperone field trips, and communicate between the teacher and other parents: The room parents sent out a signup sheet for the holiday party.
Also called class parents or room moms, though the role isn't limited to mothers.
