rolling friction
Wheel's sliding opposition
Rolling friction is the resistance that occurs when a round object rolls across a surface.
It's much weaker than sliding friction, which is why wheels and ball bearings make movement easier: Rolling friction allows a shopping cart to glide with minimal effort.
Also called rolling resistance.
