rolling around
Spinning without direction
Rolling around describes moving by turning over repeatedly, as a child might roll around on grass or a dog on its back.
It also means being present in a casual or aimless way: There's some cash rolling around in the drawer.
When a time or event rolls around, it arrives on schedule: By the time summer rolled around, we'd forgotten all about it.
