Roid rage is the aggressive, volatile behavior associated with anabolic steroid use.
The steroids amplify testosterone levels, which can trigger sudden outbursts of anger or violence: He got into another bar fight—classic roid rage.
The term sometimes applies loosely to any disproportionate aggression from someone who appears heavily muscled.
