revolter
One who mutinies
A revolter is someone who rebels or rises up against authority.
The word appears in older texts but has largely given way to rebel, revolutionary, or insurgent in modern usage: The revolters seized the armory at dawn.
It retains a slightly literary or archaic flavor.
