Rear retreat signals
Reverse lights are the white lights at the rear of a vehicle that illuminate when the transmission is in reverse gear.
They serve two purposes: helping the driver see behind the vehicle when backing up, and warning pedestrians and other drivers that the vehicle is about to move backward.
Also called backup lights.
