rehair
Fix bow strands
To rehair is to replace the hair on something, most commonly a bow for a stringed instrument like a violin or cello.
Bow hair wears out with use and must be periodically replaced: I need to get my bow rehaired before the concert.
The term also applies to replacing hair on brushes, dolls, or rocking horses.
