regional high school
Area secondary school
A regional high school serves students from multiple towns or districts that have joined together, typically because individual communities are too small to support their own secondary schools.
Common in rural areas of New England and other regions: Students from five surrounding towns attend the regional high school.
The arrangement pools resources while requiring longer bus rides for many students.
