reembed
Fix back in
To reembed is to embed again—to place something back into a surrounding material or context after it has been removed or displaced.
In computing and machine learning, reembedding typically means regenerating vector representations of data: We had to reembed the entire dataset after updating the model.
The term also appears in journalism when a reporter returns to a military unit: The correspondent was reembedded with the battalion.
