redose

Take another pill

Redose means to take an additional dose of a drug or medication after the initial dose, typically when effects begin to fade or feel insufficient.

The term appears most often in discussions of recreational drugs: I redosed after an hour when I wasn't feeling much.

In medical contexts, it refers to scheduled or necessary repeat dosing.
