recovery rate
Bounce-back measurement
Recovery rate measures how quickly or completely something returns to a normal state.
In finance, it's the percentage of a defaulted loan that creditors manage to collect: The recovery rate on those bonds was only forty cents on the dollar.
In medicine, it may refer to how many patients regain health or how fast they do so.
The term appears wherever restoration can be quantified.
