recontract
Renew the agreement
Recontract means to enter into a new contract, typically renewing or renegotiating terms of an existing agreement.
It's common in telecommunications, where customers recontract with their provider to extend service, often in exchange for a discounted phone or better rates.
I'll recontract with my carrier when my current plan expires.
The term also appears in employment contexts when workers renew fixed-term agreements.
