rebased

Shifted the baseline

Rebased is the past tense of rebase, meaning to establish a new base or starting point for something.

In software development, particularly with Git version control, to rebase is to move a series of changes onto a different foundation: I rebased my branch onto main before merging.

In finance or statistics, rebasing recalculates values against a new reference point: The index was rebased to 2020.
