re-lay
Put down anew
Re-lay means to lay again—to put something back down or install it a second time: We had to re-lay the carpet after the flood.
The hyphen distinguishes it from relay, which means to pass along or transmit.
Without the hyphen, relay the tiles could mean either installing them again or passing them to someone else.
