Ragheads is a slur for Arabs, Muslims, Sikhs, or others from the Middle East and South Asia who wear traditional head coverings such as turbans or keffiyehs.
The term is offensive and dehumanizing, reducing people to a single item of clothing: After 9/11, ragheads became targets of harassment regardless of their actual nationality or religion.
