Rabbit-eared describes something with two upward-pointing projections resembling a rabbit's ears.
Most often applied to the V-shaped indoor television antennas common before cable: We adjusted the rabbit-eared antenna to get better reception.
The term can describe any similar paired protrusions: a rabbit-eared cactus.
