quick launch
Rapid program access
Quick launch refers to a feature or interface element designed for fast access to frequently used items.
In computing, a quick launch bar or menu provides shortcuts to applications without navigating through menus: I added the browser to my quick launch.
The term extends to any system enabling rapid deployment or startup—quick launch rockets, quick launch programs.
The emphasis is always on speed and convenience over thoroughness.
