Hole-poking gamble
A punchboard is a gambling device consisting of a board with many small holes covered by paper, each concealing a slip that reveals whether the puncher wins a prize.
Common at carnivals and in bars through the mid-20th century, punchboards have largely disappeared due to gambling regulations.
