primitivity
Quality of rawness
Primitivity is the quality or state of being primitive—basic, undeveloped, or belonging to an early stage.
The word appears in technical contexts where primitiveness might feel too informal: discussions of mathematical primitivity, the primitivity of certain algorithms, or anthropological assessments of social organization.
The primitivity of the tools suggested an early date for the site.
