Foam bandage liner
Prewrap is a thin foam bandage applied to skin before athletic tape, protecting against irritation and allowing easier removal.
Athletic trainers wrap ankles, wrists, and other joints with prewrap as a base layer: She wound prewrap around his ankle before taping it.
The material is also repurposed as a headband to keep hair back during sports.
