pressure cap
Cooling system stopper
A pressure cap is a sealed lid designed to maintain pressure within a container, most commonly the radiator cap on an automotive cooling system.
It allows the coolant to reach higher temperatures without boiling by keeping the system pressurized, and includes a valve that releases excess pressure to prevent damage: The mechanic replaced the faulty pressure cap to stop the coolant leak.
