satanic rituals

Satanic rituals are ceremonies or practices associated with the worship of Satan or adherence to Satanism.

The term covers genuine religious observances by self-identified Satanists, theatrical performances meant to shock or provoke, and—most influentially—imagined practices attributed to devil worshippers in moral panics.

The 1980s "Satanic panic" saw widespread allegations of satanic ritual abuse in daycare centers, nearly all later debunked.

Police found no evidence of satanic rituals at the site.
