playlist curators
Music list makers
Playlist curators are people who assemble and maintain playlists on streaming music platforms like Spotify or Apple Music.
Professional curators work for the platforms themselves, wielding significant influence over which artists gain exposure.
Independent curators build followings around particular genres or moods: Getting on a major playlist curator's radar can launch an unknown artist's career.
