plane of symmetry
Reflective bisecting surface
A plane of symmetry is an imaginary flat surface that divides an object into two mirror-image halves.
Each point on one side has a corresponding point at equal distance on the other side: A butterfly has one plane of symmetry running down its body.
Objects may have multiple planes of symmetry—a cube has nine—or none at all.
