Inner cushion form
A pillow insert is the inner cushion that goes inside a decorative pillow cover or sham.
It provides the actual stuffing and shape while the removable outer cover supplies the design: I ordered new pillow inserts for the living room throw pillows.
Inserts come in standard sizes to match covers and are typically filled with down, feathers, or polyester fiber.
