piano arrangements
Songs for keys
Piano arrangements are compositions originally written for other instruments, voices, or ensembles that have been adapted for piano performance.
The arrangement may simplify orchestral works for home practice, create virtuosic concert pieces, or provide accompaniment versions: She bought a book of piano arrangements of Broadway hits.
The term also covers pieces arranged for piano plus another instrument.
