peroxidized

Treated with oxidizer

Peroxidized describes something that has been treated with or converted by peroxide, particularly through oxidation.

The term appears most often in chemistry and biology, where fats and oils become peroxidized when exposed to oxygen, causing rancidity: peroxidized lipids in cell membranes.

Hair that has been bleached with hydrogen peroxide is peroxidized, though the simpler "peroxided" is more common in that context.
