percent daily value
Label intake reference
Percent daily value is a nutrition label figure showing how much of a recommended daily intake one serving provides.
Based on a 2,000-calorie diet, it helps consumers gauge whether a food is high or low in particular nutrients: 5% DV or less is considered low, 20% or more is high.
Often abbreviated %DV or just DV.
