pecan sandies
Buttery nut cookies
Pecan sandies are buttery shortbread cookies studded with chopped pecans, with a crumbly, sandy texture that gives them their name.
The cookies are a staple of American home baking and commercial brands like Keebler: She brought a tin of pecan sandies to the potluck.
