pH strip
Chemical dip indicator
A pH strip is a small piece of paper or plastic treated with chemicals that change color when exposed to acidic or alkaline substances.
You dip the strip into a liquid, then compare the resulting color to a reference chart to determine the pH level: The pH strip showed the pool water was too acidic.
Used in labs, aquariums, gardening, and home health testing.
