overchill
Make too cold
Overchill means to cool something too much, past the ideal temperature: I overchilled the white wine and it lost its flavor.
The word also applies to relaxation taken too far—being so laid-back that you fail to act when needed: We overchilled on the deadline and now we're scrambling.
