online tests
Web-based examinations
Online tests are assessments administered through the internet rather than on paper or in person.
They range from academic exams and professional certifications to personality quizzes and diagnostic screenings: I took an online test to see which Harry Potter house I belong to.
The format allows instant scoring and remote proctoring, though concerns about cheating persist in high-stakes settings.
