officer-involved
Cop was there
Officer-involved is a bureaucratic modifier used in official statements and news reports to indicate police participation in an incident, most often a shooting: an officer-involved shooting, an officer-involved death.
Critics note the phrase obscures agency—"officer-involved shooting" avoids saying who shot whom, softening what might be "police shot someone." The construction is largely confined to law enforcement contexts and the journalism that covers them.
