numpties
Clueless blundering sorts
Numpties is the plural of numpty, British and especially Scottish slang for a fool or idiot—someone who lacks common sense or does something stupid: Those numpties left the gate open and the dog got out.
The word is dismissive but usually more exasperated than harsh, often used affectionately among friends.
