nontradable
Not for sale
Nontradable describes goods or services that cannot be bought or sold across borders—they must be consumed where they're produced.
Haircuts, restaurant meals, and real estate are nontradable: you can't import a massage from abroad.
Economists distinguish nontradable sectors from tradable ones like manufactured goods.
Also spelled non-tradable.
