Nonscratchable describes a surface that resists scratching or cannot be scratched under normal conditions.
The term appears in marketing for eyeglasses, phone screens, and cookware: nonscratchable lenses, a nonscratchable coating.
Like many such claims, it often means scratch-resistant rather than truly impervious to all scratching.
