Cream rises naturally
Nonhomogenized describes milk or other liquids that haven't undergone homogenization—the process that breaks fat into tiny particles so it stays evenly distributed.
In nonhomogenized milk, cream rises to the top and must be shaken back in or skimmed off: I buy nonhomogenized milk from the farmers market.
Some prefer it for taste or because they consider it less processed.
