net curtains
Translucent window drapery
Net curtains are lightweight, semi-transparent curtains made of fine mesh fabric, hung over windows for privacy while still admitting light.
Common in British homes, they typically cover the lower portion of a window, allowing people inside to see out while obscuring the view in.
She twitched the net curtains to watch the neighbors.
