Nards is slang for testicles, a playful or euphemistic alternative to balls or nuts: He got kicked right in the nards.
The word gained pop culture traction from the 1987 film *The Monster Squad*, where a kid defeats a werewolf with a groin kick while shouting "Wolfman's got nards!" It remains casual and mildly crude rather than vulgar.
